| Im assuming lock saw his past in the smoke too...I think thats why he doesnt seem to worried to be there....Im totally guessing...but it seems like they see the "regrets" that they have... |

| maybe it wasn't him seeing his past but rather the smoke judging his past to see the life he led and if he was worthy of being saved |

so therefore the smoke thinks that his live is worthy of being saved, maybe his brothers death was a sacrifice or something? |

| or in his brothers death Eko truly realized who he was and who he had become and that gave him the incentive to change. It seems like everyone on the island is in the same situation, they are all working on some sort of personal problem and trying to figure out who they really are. |

dude, i think you're on to something here.
I can't remember exactly, but from the looks of it every characters' backstory deals with death in some way. |

Best lines:
What are you gonna do, hit me with your Jesus stick?
What kind of priest are you?
This show is awesome.
The black smoke was supposed to be some type of defense system, according to an earlier episode...so we will see how that pans out. It seems reactive to the characters, and used to spread fear.. its like a dog, if youre not afriad of it, it is afraid of you. |

Have they gone in to why Jack isnt married anymore? I dont think they have but maybe I missed something back in season 1 or something.
Mr. Eko is a badass, probably my favorite character this season. Looking forward to seeing what happens next week with Walt. |
