| Well - ManU is very popular mostly because back in '58 a plane carrying their team crashed, leaving 7 players and dead. The manager, Matt Busby became famous since he was the first one to bring young players into top football, back then you had to be experienced before you would be considered to be able to play.. Now this planecrash, brought ManU a lot of compassion from around the UK, thereby increasing their fanbase outside the local fanbase who are fans because its their town. Now, being a fan of a certain club is easily given down from one generation to another -> ManU is still popular, and THE richest team. |
