I have just aquired an xone:62, and Im having a hard time wrapping my head around its cueing system.

When cue'ing a channel, how do you enable it so that you can hear the EQ and filter changes, in the cue for that particular channel??

Thanks in advance :D

Thats what I've heard.. but Ive got a little bit of disbelief towards that, seeing as this is a world class mixer... surely it can out cue my old vestax!

If you cue the channel I don't think you're able to hear the filters on that channel at the same time, you'll just hear the track and how it's eq'd, if you have none of the channel cues on and are only hearing the master in the phones, you can hear the filters... This is at least my understanding of it.

Spot-on.

- Can hear EQs
- Cannot hear Filters (unless you're listening to master)

Not being able to hear the filters doesn't bother me too much. Whenever I use them for a transition, I generally start with them at 2 O'Clock. By the way, only use the High-Pass Filter for transitions, unless there's a tune that doesn't have Lows for the first two minutes of it.

I actually often use the LPF in transitions. Love to ride the bass!

Eh, I just think that two kicks and two basslines right over each other sound bleh. Whatever works for you, though. :)

Well that i didnt know, you would of thought paying that much for a mixer you be able to pre cue the filters before applying them.

So is it the same case with the Xone 3D and the Xone 92 ??
