Let me see. Personally I thought, "Ouch! That looks like it hurts!", a thought probably brought on by my brain's ability to imagine what it's like to be skinned alive and have that imagination triggered by seeing something being skinned alive. But I wouldn't say I felt the coon's pain, because I really wasn't hurt in any way, and imagined pain isn't real pain. I guess that my ability to empathize in this way made me feel a little sorry for the coon at first even though it does him no good now he's dead, and wouldn't have even when he was alive. You see, I am not without emotion.

you don't know alot about economics, do you? higher prices simply mean higher demand. in other words, because this thing gets more and more popular, more and more people are willing to buy it for a higher price. the market price indicates the demand level. if a supplier sold the item for $100, then because of the demand increase he decided to sell it for $200, and saw that the profits were hurt, he will have absolutely no problem in switching back to $100.

Fur is classified under Luxury Goods and when it comes to luxury items, pricing is not determined by demand and supply theory; rather the seller and its marketing strategy determines the selling price.

To make it more clear to you I take one hypothetical example: You get one genuine leather bag in a decent store costing you around 50 dollars, but if you buy the same leather bad from Louis Vuitton / Armada / Prada etc. showroom it will cost you more than 500 bucks. Here high prices dosent mean that Louis Vuitton / Armada / Prada leather bags are highly in demand and they are out of stock thats why they are charging 450 bucks more than any local store.

What if people don't want to buy Louis Vuitton / Armada / Prada anymore? Would they drop their prices? (you're paying for a brand btw, which has nothing to do with fur).

The answer is: yes

Atleast it helps in keeping the prices high. When the little girl ask for it, her mom say 'no sweety, you will spoil it, its too expensive for you to have one now, you can get one when you are 19 years old.' And when she is 19 I think she should be sensible enough to think of Jlo as a slut and Fur coat a blood on her.

These greenpeace activist go to fashion shows and spray paints model wearing fur, shouting 'No fur'.

But let me tell you; the day these fashion houses stop selling fur coats as an exclusive expensive clothing material, prices will plummet or atleast come down significantly.

Activists say 'When buying stops, killing can too.'

But its not like that, you and me not wearing fur wont stop this killing.

When buuying stops prices comes down, demand increases as a result of low prices and killing increases.

Fur becomes cheap and poor people starts buying it for warmth. And the day fur becomes a household item, racoons become extinct.

The only way to stop this brutal killing of alive animal is to BAN FUR TRADE WORLDWIDE. Just like Ivory trade and whale fishing.

Nopes not the one posted by the thread starter, because I had already seen it before. The vedio by thread starter is only of one Racoon, You can get the full vedio here. Where you will also see wild foxs, dogs and other exotic animals being skinned alive after breaking their necks and mutilitating their eyes with shoe sole. The noise made by these animals are further more clearer in this vedio. I hope you watch it till the end and than pass on the link to your freinds and spread it on.
