I thought I had actually located the Ark for a moment, with the breastplate of the high priest and it curious stones affixed to one of its panels. I found an artifact in situ above my stove. It had the same rough dimensions and produced similar effects. I opened it and a light emitted from it, and I stared in wonderment at a plate miraculously revolving inside that seemed to be made of sapphire or some clear crystal. Wisely, I closed the box after only a moment. Even then, my face was shining and blistered from the brief exposure to the intensity of its beaming power. This was my microwave, of course. Still, my mistake yielded an important clue.
