TranceAddict Forums Archive > DJing / Production / Promotion > Music Producers Promotion [prog/M.I.K.E. style trance] Magdelayna - Primary Reactor (Full 192) View this Thread in Original format adam_rodriguez hi,ive just finished this off today - its very much in the M.I.K.E. style,as are a lot of my tracks :) Plz tell me what you think :cool: Magdelayna - Primary Reactor (yorkshire records) [full 320] // adam richg101 i knew it. you got your kick sorted and the track sounds so much more pro. the kick sounds really nice and clean. the whole thing is eating a lot less headroom as well! great! intro is long and progressive and atmospheric and im enjoying. break. very tearful and emotional and fresh aswell. this is my preference of trance actually. bell percussive melody is really really nice and evil. when the kick comes in i think it comes in out of time a bit. id definately start the kick one beat earlier than you have done so the beat goes better with your melody. other than that i love it and would like a 320k if i may. once the kick timing is sorted id say this is a 9.8 good overall sound and loud mixdown. rich:) adam_rodriguez ok cheers rich & ashley...ive got a lot of work to do this track - the version i put up was the very first draft - got to work on the strings and the overall melody...i'll post an update later on...:) thoughtlessjex Bass sounds kinda muffled. I think you could use a bit more mid on it. Loving that experimental snare work. Very progessive. Very nice lead synth. I knew this would happen. You bass starts to get really muddy once the lead jumps in. You need some punchy lower mids to define where the bass starts and stops. Ambience in the break is incredible. It sounds like it would be perfect in an ambient mix. FM Synth after the break kind of annoying, I think. I dunno. Not really my thing, I suppose. Not a very high energy track, but a good one nonetheless.
