Which programs do you use to edit tracks? Looking for a program that is easy to use.
Would it be illegal to play editted tracks out in a club given that you own the track on vinyl/cd?
Thanks.

Sound Forge
;)
i dont think it will be illegal as long as you have the originals. but if you change the context of the song it would be. i cant see anything wrong with making it shorter or something. |

| What kind of editing you talking about? I once used some program to speed up a track about 10bpm without affecting the pitch so I could play it at a club I think that's ok not sure about other stuff tho. |

piece of cake with Ableton, although i have not used any of the others.
you probably don't have to worry about the legalities (it happens quite a lot with DJ/Producers) but you wouldn't be able to sell yoru edites obviously ;) |

Cutting out the the "longgggggggggg" breaks out in some tracks to keep the ennergy in the set high :) Adding some extra elements to the tracks also.
Thanks for the replies :)
