well they're bringing their soundsystem + lights to the
Kesselhaus or E-Werk as well and those venues are way bigger than roselands.
it doesn't affect the price tho. ;) :) |

The openers play like 1-1/1 and headliners play like 2-3 hour sets. Marco V had his own stage last year and he spun a 3-4 hour set, thats how it went down last year anyway. |
That sounds awesome :) |

thats this years lineup right? yeah some of my friends are going (including DarkAngel from FLTA)...I was gonna go but plans fell thru...:( for the djs mentioned in the first two stages (esp. JOHAN, MARCEL, COR FINJEMAN and SCOT PROJECT, and that TRIPLE VS. SET OMGWTFBBQ!! lol) i would DIE. lol. yeah i am slowly branching out...im getting more interested in more than just the TOP 3-5 BIG DJS that keep visiting NYC. ahh I remember when we went to the Love Parade at SF last year during the day then the Afterparty at night...total MASSIVE madness. of COURSE the TA ROOM there had the best setup and djs. :D |

i know what u mean but still, think about other festivals that charge the same as pvd and they go on for 20 hours straight, have 10 tents, crazy acrobats, performers, kiosks, flea markets and what do we get with pvd? a german, a laser and as the rush comes. well smack my bum and call me uncle, i think we have a winner here! |
i saw the vids that Francis took during Tiesto when he was VIP at Global Gathering last summer in Birmingham...OMG that was CRAAAZY!!! and to think that festival is like TWO days of madness...trance, prog, house, everything!
Global Gathering Miami this year has S&D, Ferry, Jimmy Van M and others...:D
but yeah dani, u've gone to IBIZA so im sure NOTHING beats that experience. :D |

They are idiots. Id rather see a better DJ spin for 6 hours. Then a bunch of other DJs spin for 30 mins - 1 hour.
Ferry is Free too, But I feel no need at all to see him. |
lol i agree with most of ur statements. but i love FERRY so its perfectly fine for me to go.
And ULTRA at WMC last year WAS AWESOME...even if it wasnt as good as the past year. I just love experiencing different scenes and people. :D |

of course it would, but the experience is SOO worth the money IMO. then again I LOVE travelling :tongue2
Of course u dont go into it blindly. U SAVE like crazy and u have plans in place. last year when I went to the love parade in SF, i stayed with my friend who lived in San Jose. When I went down to Miami, I stayed with other ppls. You book thru priceline, etc. travel with friends. There are always way to cut down costs. :]
well ok international will always COST $$$$. but you can still find ways to maximize ur experience :D |

That's one thing that's great about travel - meeting new people... I recently went to Seattle for the first time. I talked to a few people on the Pacific/NW forum about my trip. Before I knew it, I was with a bunch of them going out for a weekend ski trip in the Cascades, and hitting up clubs and house parties, etc. Now I know people out there I can stay w/ whenver there's a show, and the same goes for them coming over here....
don't use not knowing anybody as an excuse for staying home... some of the best times can be had when you go it on your own |
