Opera on mac has a IRC client built into it. Maybe youd be interested.

I tried out opera about a year ago when it first came out but it didn't peak my interest. However I may try i again for the IRC client.

Opera has been arround since the mid 90's, It used to have a advertisement in the title bar, but they have removed that.

Also anyone using VLA know a way for it to act as a plugin in safari etc..

Man, I want to help you but I haven't had a Mac for a loooong time. I have a good friend who has a couple of them networked at his house, though. I'll ask him how he did it and let you know.

Linux 2.6.12-r11 AMD64

Gentoo
KDE
smtm
gaim
opera
portage
xmule
ssh
emacs
gkrellm
gnome-terminal
ktouch
Audacity

Did you build that Linux box yourself?

I've actually been thinking about creating a Widows XP / Linux dual boot. I have a bunch of Linux builds that I've downloaded but I just haven't used any of them. I guess I've just grown to be so comfortable with Windows - which kinda sucks.
