I think people watch too many movies :D
Their primary function isn't to be a citizen police force.

I like what they stand for, unfortunately they didn't arrange anything with the local police commissoner (?) which is why they're getting the boot and told to leave by Monday.
I don't understand why they wouldn't have at least made their presence known to the local authorities.
He was flagged at the airport appearantly and only given 3 days to stay in Canada to begin with.
Its obvious the pride of the police is in the way in this which is sad really.
Miller, having solved all other problems apparently, needs tell us a little more of his plan to stop all this gun violence rather than kicking out a potential solution, regardless of source... |

so its bassically like taking the club bouncers allow them to roam the streets with a red barret on and attack gangs?
sure they are trained in self defence. but are they really going to be able to stand up to a gun? |

These aren't amateur civilian hooligans, they've been in business for over 25 years and are around the world for a reason; I think it's safe to say they know what they're doing... |

Unless of course, you're coming to Toronto, where (worse than) status quo is just fine :whip: |

| Miller and some GTA area social workers I've seen interviewed seemed to be against the idea because they feel the Angels are taking over their turf. I think they need to swallow their pride. Toronto should take any help they can get. |

So they will talk to some black pastor from boston who got paid to make a speech and nothing more yet they wont talk to a bunch of guys who are willing to take a hands on approach that has worked in 20 other countries?
I cant help to think that had this played out in the opposite way the accusations of racism would be flying everywhere.
Time to give miller and his wussy city council the big boot this november. |
