the soundcard in my laptop is just plain horrible. i'm going to be replacing it with an emu 1616 audio interface, but i've got some general questions about what the final setup will be like--wiring wise.
i will be using the emu to record my dj mixes. what will the wiring be like?
turntables->mixer->(rca out)->emu->laptop?
i'd like something better than rca out of my mixer (dn-x1500, but i believe that's all i have to work with since the XLR (main) outputs are going to the studio monitors?
i'm really confused here...:conf:
i've got 2 cdjs, and 2 turntables, and a dn-x1500.
