I was in poland a few years ago. I had a really great time. I stayed at my Friend Martha's house. Her and her friends showed me around town. Hey did you get to have hot beer?
I <3 NY
^ Hot beer with salt or honey kthnx. Dont forget the long preztel stick on the side we call "Paluszki". Poland is one of the most inspiring countries you can go to, and I'm not just saying that because I am a Pole. The things that go unsaid in our culture, are so priceless, like the way Poles treat eachother, we're very united, more than any culture I can think of. I think that because not everyone has alot and are in poverty, that really bonds them together, and relationships are valued alot more between people than anywhere else I know of. I love our people and heritage, u know how most people say theyd die for their country, but its just all talk, well a Pole is seriously so nationalistic and proud of our land, that theyd take a bullet, if it was for the good of our country. Not to mention we have the sexiest women on earth.

I've spent the last 2 weeks going all over Poland (mainly staying in Krakow) and just having a great time. At first, I was skeptical about going to Poland. "What's there to do?" I would ask myself. However, the trips paid off ten-fold. I've visited everything from 11th century castles to the infamous nazi concentration and death camps as well as the crazy clubs and bars in the basements of old dwellings. . I even visited a salt mine. There's just so much to do and see.

In other news, I'm freezing my nuts off. :tongue2

Anyways, highly recommended. I'll post some pics up when I get back home from Europe (Jan. 21st and on). My next stop is the Czech. Republic. Prague, to be exact.

Anyone know any good clubs in Prague? ;)

Wow that sounds like quite the culture experience. I'd love to travel the world one day. It's a great way to learn about other people custom's and why they act the way they do or in other words to see where they're coming from. No pun intended. Some places I'd really love to visit include but not limited to

France: See if they really have the best bread and eiffel tower.
Italy: The vatican, colliseum, and other historic places
U.K.: Godskitchen.....nah sike. Probably the old parliament and government buildings
Germany: The site of the Wall. I heard they kept a piece of the Berlin Wall up as a memoir.
Russia: I don't know what I would visit here, but it looks interesting from what I've seen on t.v.
The Entire Orient: Great Wall of China, a lot of metropolitan cities, soccer stadiums, disney, and so forth.
Lepanto
I found prague to be uber boring. mainly because it looked and gave off a soviet era vibe that was beyond depressing.
