Hi There Fella's, i dont really have a request on a song or any music but i just have a question for all of ya, i am planning to create some sick trance/club tracks and i want to know if there is such software that is capable of producing some good loops and beats and something that is compatible with most pentium systems... if there are any good valuable software that is worth the try can you please let me know what i could use to get some sounds banging and produced with nice hard and phat beats! i have already tried rebirth and fruity loops but there a lil too acid for my ideas not my trance type or my club type, ive also tried dance eJay 1,2 they arent too bad with the house/trance sample add-ons but i think dance eJay is just a game i dont think id get anywhere on the eJay software, if you have any suggestions on sick and great music studio & creation software can you please help me! thanx :) |

I've just started using Orion Pro from Sonic Syndicate. It's a bit hard to keep track of things if your track gets too complicated, but it's capable of getting really good, loud, thick beats and is a pretty powerful engine.
You can grab the demo >HERE< |

Hey,
Try Reason if you can get your hands on it...it's pretty expensive, but you can come up with some pretty sweet sounds. i heard Orion is pretty good too and a lot cheaper (or free). |

how long did you use FL?? Ive used it for about 2 years now and find it to be more and more useful every day.. the sounds you want can be created with other generators and Fruity Wrappers and usually samples can be tweaked to sounds however you want to with effects and such..
if you wanna give it another go, ill be happy to send ya some new snyths.. whatever..

Ok. I HIGHLY recommend Reason if u want great sounds. Now, this will cost about $500, or you could probably find a pirated one somewhere (which I DO NOT recommend, as this is illegal).. amazing program. If u want something for $50 or so, that's decent, get Dance eJay 2: Techno Edition.. as this as a hyper groove generator in it, so u can make ur own loops and tunes. But.. I gotta say, if you are looking to go professional, get some serious hardware. I've got a Novation Supernova, (and korg er-1) and these just obliterate software like reason or fruity loops (but mind u, drums are still good from cpu programs.. just not analog so u dont have as much control). |

I've heard a load of good things about buzztracker. Plus it's FREE.
Apparently it does take some mucking around to get into it, but it is very flexible (so I've heard). Also eats VST's and VSTi's. |
