| tribu, great work on the system, however there are some questions: does it track the results only by ip? cause then using various free proxies (which there are thousands of), someone can submit votes almost countless number of times (or until s/he runs out of the list of working proxies). ideally, it should be linked to a ta userid, reading its value off the cookie - for that you will have to use the Humor/Funny Websites section, cause that's the only subforum which allows reading of cookies by the third party websites (like your voting system). if you need any help in that (so that the poll results are indeed valid and true), i'll gladly help you in that part. |
