Have you checked out Erowid? |
He meant a dealer, not info.
BTW, I took your survey, too. It's a bit longer than the advertised 15 minutes. Granted I was watching football, but i think it took me 45. |

Done:) I have read MANY research articles on the subject, so I have not read all of your info provided, however, being a grad student myself, I understand how important it is to collect data, so I took the survey. :) |
THANKS! So you understand my pain and empathize. After awhile, the brain becomes mush from reading too many acadmic articles :eyes: What are you studying? Where at? BTW, I can't wait for baseball season (saw your AV). |

Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate you taking the time to do it, particulary in midst of football :D What game ya watchin? I thought it says 15-30. I better go back and check. It's much quicker for non-X users. |

I am going to Fordham for my masters now....I would like to become a sex therapist in the future ;) I JUST started my masters research on dual addictions (ie: substance abusers who turn to other addictions, such as sex, food, gambling, shopping, etc....) I will be concentrating (narrowing it down), of course, on the sex part :) So YES of COURSE I understand!!!
PS: I have hockey to hold me over till April, but I am also pretty friggin excited to get this season going...I am curious to see how Damon will do! |

The abstract and research itself is really captivating. (I know, I'm a nerd for this kind of stuff) I'm a psych undergrad myself. I love really technical and research oriented topics. Still haven't decided whether to go to grad school for psych or law though. A career in psych is such an uphill battle working toward a PhD, not necessarily because of the amount of schoolwork that's involved, but moreso because it's hard to find decent paying jobs with a BA or even an MA in psych. So during the time you're doing your dissertation and tons of school work a lot of ppl still end up having to live like undergrads w/Ramen noodles and whatnot. (correct me if i'm wrong)
And yeah, I know about Erowid. I usually do a few months worth of research online and in my psych drug use/abuse and abnormal psych text books before trying anything new. www.ecstacy.orgalso has tons of peoples personal accounts of their experiences on E, both good and bad. People discuss feelings of euphoria, depression, gaining insight to themselves and others, dealing with addiction, meeting their husband or wife, et cetera. Really fascinating stuff. Other than doing research, it's good to just ask people who already have already had experiences with whatever. I figure if you're going to do something, it's better to know as much as you can. It's also helpful to talk to ppl who already have some experience. If you don't know anyone then there's always http://www.drug-forums.com You can pretty much ask about anything there as long as you don't say anything self-incriminating.
I'm not a big druggie or anything either lol. Never even tried weed. But it's just good to be informed so that in the event that I ever want to try anything, I have some idea what I'd be getting myself into (that includes knowing about legal penalties etc). Hope this is helpful, and yeah, the survey was a good 30 minutes but I definately saw what each aspect of the survey was trying to assess. Good luck w/your research. :) |

Tell your patients all problems can be solved with this :whip:
Great area to specialize in :D My friend worked for a sex therapist in NYC, I forget his name but he was billing about $300 an hour cash. NOT BAD :eyes: |
