He's been tearing it up of late, but the MVP only counts for the regular season. You could make a valid case for Smith with the MVP if the Panthers were one the top 2 seeds.

He's cemented his status for me keeping him in our keeper league with Vernon.

if i had to revote my ballot for the MVP i would choose Steve Smith over Shaun Alexander right now. He just makes db's look stupid right now. seriously.

and after this weekend, i don't want to jinx the guy, but jake plummer really had a good game against the pats. showed some poise against a good pats defense. and my man b-roth is doing all right too. just hope his right arm is feeling ok. he took a crown from the helmet to his soft spot ( spot between the triceps and elbow. ouch ! ) today. that is a dinger you do not want.

Jake NO... man did what now??? Threw a pick in that game, to make it what... an INT in each one of his playoff appearances... I can't stand the man... he was MR. INT... but he calmed down over the past couple years... still don't like him...

Yes Steve Smith is incredible... he ripped it up in Fantasy this year... but Shaun was too damn good...

my vote goes to Larry Johnson for MVP...lol... always will!!! If he started from week 1... he would have a load of records right now.......

so you're saying that if you were dick vermeil, you would start larry johnson over priest holmes ? no way. not me.

i think larry, like priest, is lucky to have one of the better offensive linemen in the nfl right now ( including future HOF willie roaf ) . there's a reason why a guy like trent green can pass for over 4000 yards every season. no offense against trent, but if he was on a team with an average OL, he will receive criticism.

that is why i think kc can go somewhere beyond the second round next year instantly, because herm edwards is in town. herm is another one of those lucky coaches that inherited a pretty good team.

No, I don't start a HEALTHY Priest over LJ... but you know what... I think I might, its so tough... LJ can BOWL guys over, he's a rock... so I really don't know. Its tough to think of a situation where I'd start anyone over Priest, but LJ is a classic physical RB... Priest is a little more finesse... Priest's career is over, so its easy for me to say LJ is better...

true.
but then again, he can also thank derrick blaylock for accepting that offer from the jets to fill lamont jordan's vacant spot last year. :wtf: . because if blaylock was still with the chiefs, johnson would still be 3rd string.

everyone knew that johnson was an awesome rb, coming out of penn state, but we never knew how awesome he was. he is a physical bruising running back. and of course, i am mentioning herm edwards again, with johnson in the lineup, edwards can use and abuse him just like he used and abused curtis martin at new york. now if we are going to compare larry johnson to curtis martin, then welllll............... that's a different story, because johnson doesn't have martin's cred.

and just like Priest and C Mart his knees will be gone in 2-3 seasons...

next question...

i will take coaches with no knowledge of clock management for $1000.

:wtf:

lol...

I love Curtis Martin, always have... so I'm not going to dispute that... he's one of my all-time favorite players...!

and... Curtis Martin went 10 years... 11 or 12 seasons I think... that's pretty LONG for a running back... so that makes him even better!

lol... this isn't he $1000 question, more like $200...

the answer is: The first coach to lead this team to a super bowl since Dick Vermeil, only to have his mobile QB crumble under the pressure of TIME...

sorry, that was bad... I didn't know how else to put it without giving it totally away...lol...
