I honestly don't know what happened there but EVERY time I've seen armin, he's the most friendly guy ever... he always gives autographs, he even took a song request by taking my cellphone and looking at the song i asked him to play in a txt msg... :) I know he likes to take the girls to the rooms heh.. but any warm-blooded male would do that given the abundance of hot girls wanting to do that usually :)
Otherwise, you must have either caught him on an offday (everyone has them.....) or something odd.. but he is almost NEVER like that at any gigs.. and I'm sure most people would agree with me.. he is as down-to-earth as a world-famous dj of his stature could be... a wee bit different from tostito and pee-vd |

Well I'll say this happened in Vancouver last year. My friend approached him after the set and said hey man just wanted to shake your hand and say what a great set you played and that ASOT 196, which had just happened the Thursday before, was awesome. Armin didn't even acknowledge his existence, blew him off. He was more interested in my friend's girlfriend and so maybe his attention was on getting some anus. The girl he DID take back... :nervous: All I can say is I hope he used a condom. |

I'm a bit disappointed as well. There were a lot of amazing songs played that night that I was looking forward to seeing on the DVD. I'll still buy it, since I was there, but I wanted a lot more of the other tracks from that night to be on the DVD...I love Armin, but I want more of the non-Armin tracks he played.
I'm with you though...probably about label rights more than anything else. |
