Hey Trancer I'd like to add to your article:

2000: The report of the "Project for the New America Century: Rebuilding America's Defenses" written September of 2000. It is supported by key members of the Bush administration. The drafting for the report was headed by military members of the cabinet as well as Bush's younger brother Jeb. It states that America is after global leadership, both militarally and economically. It also states that in order for the U.S. to achieve global domination it has to come up with catastrophic events like Pearl Harbor.

Notice how it's quite analogous to what you stated earlier:

Thanks, stevieboy32808.

We've been talking about those damn PNAC'ers on this board for over two years now. IMO, they're definitely a shifty group.

Here's one of the older threads, courtesy of DaveSZ:

I also really wish that Vesa was still around as he seemed to be very knowledgable in regards to those guys. He's disappeared from the boards, but you can still find quotes from him in other people's posts:

Wow, great rebuttal!

Do you think that by burying our heads in the sand, all of our problems will solve themselves?

The fact that there are evil men in this world who wish to impose their wills upon the collective masses doesn't scare me. What frightens me is that well documented cases of past transgressions by both corrupt businessmen and government officials are so readily dismissed by those who seek to turn a blind(ered) eye.

Just as Eisenhower said in his farewell speech, it's only an enlightened and informed citizenry that can prevent such occurances from continuing as they still are today.

3 things i realized recently -

1. Cry all you want: you won't change a damn thing.
2. I am too busy to worry about all the evil in the world.
3. Aslong as my backyard is clean: i am content.

Yeah, your self-centered complacency is apparent. I realized that a while ago.

listen man...i get one run in this life...should i spend it trying to find all the bad people in the world? Or to find all the good people in the world? I choose the latter...it makes this one run in life a hell of a lot more enjoyable.

Well, that mentality more or less makes you a traitor to those 'good people' in whom you speak - as well as the Constitutional Republic in which you live under.

Thank God that our founding fathers weren't so complacent or we would still be living under British rule!

what a load of horse . You tell me one thing you have changed in your quest for finding all the bad little people in this world? I guarantee it is nothing.

What do you suggest? Reading the likes of William Blum? Finding all the CIA secret projects? Tallying up all the innocent people killed in just and unjust wars? etc etc etc...ok fine...in the end what do i have? An education on all that is horrid that i can do absolutley nothing about? Whats the point?

Can you tell me the point?

Well, just because you believe yourself to be too emotionally or mentally impotent to change the world for the better doesn't mean that the everybody else should just give up, too!!!

I've only just begun, my friend - and I'm not going to give up until I'm either dead or have helped make my mark in reversing the wickedly archetypical paradigms that continue to pervade humanity as a whole - something which I honestly don't see happening in my lifetime.

And while I won't claim to have majorly changed anything so far as the eye can see, I do know for a fact that what I am doing is having a positive and (hopefully) somewhat lasting effect. I know this simply because more and more people are beginning to wake up to the imminent dangers which we're facing by continuing to delude ourselves in our denial of reality. Many people have already told me that I've opened their eyes, and that's all the vindication that I need.

And while I have never claimed to be overly pious by subscribing to any single religion, I do possess enough spiritual and intellectual curiosity to seek enlightenment by studying the works and deeds of both luminaries and humanitarians throughout all of recorded history.

As Mother Theresa was once noted as saying,
quote:
I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples

... and that is exactly what I'm doing.

It only takes one spark to create a fire. The fire which was set upon my mind through someone else will hopefully one day spread to the collective consciousness of our world.

:)

well said and i respect you for that. However, for me, i feel the best way to enjoy my short existence is to put my feet in the water of all thats wrong with the world but not to take a swim. I can only handle so much misery in this world that i see, read and hear about everyday. Sadly i am not the man who can change it...i salute you for your efforts...you are a better man....or you jsut have more free time...lol jus kidding.:p
