I went to go see Les Miserables at the National Theater in Washington DC on Saturday.

It was phenomenonal. The acting, the singing, the set, the direction; it was all brilliant. I'm so glad I saw it and would encourage other people to see it if they can.

Photographing and sound recording of the show was prohibited. I didn't want to get kicked out.

OMG! This is my favorite book of all time. It has an amazing storyline and it's very well written with lots of unexpected twists. When I first approached this book I thought it was overrated and meant for the old demographic, but talk about judging a book by its cover or in this case opinions. It's a long, but great read and the ending is sad and happy at the same time, but more on the somber side if you ask me. I know I'm being vague, but it's for a reason and that reason is to not spoil the ending.

I caught the show in Shanghai. Indeed, it was phenomenal..I practically liked the..bar-owner's song. I forgot the tune, though.
