Alright, hope everybodys new year was nice. Thought i'd do something unique for the january mix soo every song on this mix is a remix of a song from the 1980's!(except for one song which was released in 1979 but the video for it was made for mtv in the 80's and it really popularized the song and became an 80's staple on the radio, so im cheating a little bit but who gives a f**k:p ). This mix should appeal to those who like that 98-99-00 trance sound as some of these remixes are older and fit in with that genre.having said that lets get to the tracklist:

8.Tainted Love- Hi Speed(Bassraiders remix)
9.Easy Lover- DJ Diablo vs Divided(extended mix/AtomX H.O.U.S.E. version)
10.Brick In the Wall- Ross Harris vs Pink Floyd(darkside mix)
11.Sweet Dreams- Eurythmics(Angello vs Ingrosso remix/AtomX H.O.U.S.E. version)

beat factory.. why does that sound familiar to me.. what was the remix?i feel like i should know it but i cant remember....
and as for broken wings.... no doubt you have to have that one in there.hands down that is probably the best done remix of an 80's song i have ever heard.. |

lol. i havent done anything(other than mix them together)its not like i remixed them myself. i think quite a bit of these are tight. like sos, broken wings, and i think noel sanger did a bangup job on big country. angello and ingrosso remix of sweet dreams is quite catchy also(although i think rob searle did the best remix of sweet dreams ever).
sorry it wasnt for you.but im glad you posted a comment because i think your words will intrigue more poeple to listen to the mix and hopefully comment. im curious as to how others will like it. anybody else feel like LuNaSeA here? |

Nah I am the opposite of what Lunasea thinks.
I really enjoyed the mix except I could have doen with out "Broken Wings" I love how "Blue Monday" is the opening track just like PVD opened with this track in 2004 in D.C. I would have like to see a remix of "Mr.Roboto" in there somewhere. Yea thanks for this will be listening to this at work tomorrow |

i was going to go with dumondes remix of this one but i wanted a more obscure remix that maybe no one has heard. ovarall it a good track but i feel that the buildup to the vocals is a little to long. i just got a white of "people are people" from depeche mode which i was impressd with.it will be in the february mix. thanks for listening! please give it to as many people that you feel might like it! |

now i remember they did a message in a bottle remix.that was a most a sought after track in the unknown forums section for a while before someone id the artists. |
