in my experience it's the business world of corporate america.
it may be the upbringing of social misfit males, or at least as much as the US females would like to believe - BUT - everything is too touchy feely and women take advantage of that. i even had a female tranny coworker that used her femine skills to not show up to work often and get away with that . fired? no.
the culture of work today involves doing whatever you can to get paid. who gives a where it comes from, and if you try- you are either setting yourself on the line for firing or mediocrity.
the truth is? most people dont try.
its bull, but those whom try get nothing. the people that dont, dont get fired.
its the same as how one used to need a degree to get anywhere. and now a degree gets you nowhere| |
