VESTAX STAGE CONTROLLER STC-V1
Is it a guitar or is it a turntable? I don’t think anybody knows but what they all agree on is that Vestax know no bounds when it come to producing innovative, controversial and the down right whacky instruments.
The novel piece of dj equipment was previewed by Vestax at this years Musik Messe and quite rightly drew in a bit of a crowd. Aimed towards the band dj on stage the Vestax stc-v1 allows the artist to now freely roam the stage and put on a show rather than being tucked away behind their band members as is normally the case.
The guys at Vestax insist that the “stage controller” operates in many ways identical to that of a normal turntable, combining the technology behind their successful CDX-05 and TT-M1. With a PCV fader the dj is able to cut scratch and cue just like normal but without a skipped beat seeing as we’re talking about digital technology here.

CDX-05 movement and technology.
TT-M1 motion for analogue tracking ability for digital music.
PCV fader, for longevity, quality number one fader.
3 cue points similar to the CDX-05.
Sampling system, full record and loop functions.
Flanger effects Pitch bend.
Start/Stop switch.
