Has anyone else bught this pressing of Cypress Hil's radio hits? Several of these songs are re-mastered, and they sound terrible! Rock Superstar is the one that jumps out most at me but The Only Way sounds awful as well along with others. Terrible production or post-production work by the people at Sony.
Don't waste your money on this , especially f you've already got the originals.
Oh and for all you s who will bitch about this not being a trance thread, go yourself. This part of the forum is for electronic music, which hip-hop/rap clearly is. Whether you like it or not is irrelevant. |

| Do you mean terrible sound quality wise or did they up the tunes by reworking them? |

Just bad quality period. It seems like they got some green intern to remaster these tracks. For example, there are several parts in Rock Superstar where the members of CH talk over the beat. Most of these parts are way too loud...almost as if someone bumped the volume knob on that track and never listened to the final copy.
The tunes are more or less the originals, but theyd have been better off ripping the tracks from the original cd's and repressing them onto one disc |

| Maybe it's a new kind of copy protection... make the quality so that nobody wants to rip the albums. |

Talking about Cypress Hill be sure to check out "Grandmasters" an absolute dope album by Dj Muggs and GZA.
I cannot stress how good this cd is, by far one of the top hip hop cds of '05. |
