Sup.

Just re-launched my site ReeBooT.Net and have a bunch of Trance/Progressive Mp3's and live/computer mixes by myself. Please check it out and let me know what u think. Plan on updating the live mixes and mp3's about twice a month.

Peace.

Aren't you afraid that someone will force you to shut down your liveset MP3 because it's illegal?

The reason I'm asking is because I too would like to publish an MP3 liveset somewhere, but the question is whether it's wise to make it publicly available on a general site like yours.

Actually,
I never really thought about that! I was just like, it be cool to have a few mp3's to download on there.! :)

I guess I'll have to rethink that piece! Thanks for reminding me!

The site looks good even though I haven't had time to check it all out yet.

A word on the legal side of things. I thought livesets weren't applicable to copyright laws? Not in the same way as publishing standard MP3's are anyhow.

DJ mixes are for sure exempt from copyright because they DJ has (pfffft yeah right!) already paid for copyrights and the mixing is HIS artistic talent and no longer the group/artist that produced the track. Maybe your mixes fall under the same category although I think to be 100% sure ytou need a public license ... but I doubt anybody will care. Besides if anybody contacts you about it you simply remove the tracks they mention.
