See it in a practical way...
2 Weeks ago we decided to go shopping in Amsterdam (we live near Hamburg in germany)... and we don't have to change german marks in dutch guldens...
Next time we will travel to London by plane... and what we have to do? We travel into another Country of the European Union and we have to change our money... sorry... this is really sick!!!
2-4 Years... and you'll be euro-tized!

hey we gave up the "German Mark"... the history behind this: france forced us to do that back in 1989-1990 (German Reunion)... (hey, this is correct!!!)
The DM was THE leading (sorry...) currency in Europe and we gave it up for a European currency...
I think that was the best way for a better Europe.
Think about it what you like!

:D hey, I know that this is only joking here....
Germany is like France, Spain or even the UK... Sorry, but "ruling the world" sounds like old documentations in the TV...
Plz not so much distrust in the Germans... think most of the people over here are like you, your neighbors and so on... and extreme people are everywhere...
Germany is the country with the most population in europe, ok... but I think there ar more certain things... to unite the people... I don't have a problem to learn more english for a "united" language... :D
