Moving back to LA

Alright guys...My ass has been in Toronto for the last 8 years and im sick and tired of the cold. Never got used to it considering i grew up in LA.
Unfortunately, i was neither old enough or even into the Trance scene before i moved to Toronto.
So i gotta ask...have any of you guys partied in Toronto or Montreal (toronto specifically) and how do the clubs/trance scene compare to Toronto's?
i gotta give credit to toronto though...constant trance/house dj's coming to our main club called "the guvernment" (we've got Johan Gielen coming on jan 28th :D )
anywho...just wanna get a feel for the scene that i'll be a part of in a few months. DONT MAKE YOUR OPINIONS BIASED!!!

Aside from living in Buffalo 21 years of my life, I definitely partied in Toronto for a few years before moving out to Los Angeles. As far as the trance scene goes I think its great and up there especially with the Guvernment. However, nothing compares to that complex or the docks what-so-ever, as far as I have seen. I have been here almost 2 years. The breaks scene is pretty much non-existent as well as the happy hardcore, so you can pretty much figure out that there will be no hullaballoo's here :P not that they throw those parties anymore anyway! Jungle is also very small. So I guess what i'm trying to say is that if you like Trance and House the scene is pretty good. Deep dish is playing here on saturday. We have headliners here every month.. and Ferry Corsten has a residency at Avalon which ends in March. Who will be next? we will see......... hit me up on aim: iluveyew

ah yes...mauro....3 or 4 times a year. such as in 3 weeks. him, blank and jones, and about 9 other gigs at "the guvernment"
