I am going to be moving to Houston in June and am looking to make a few weekend trips before then to get a taste of the city. what are the best websites, clubs, and regular events? Also, I am looking to live downtown so if anyone has specific sugesstions on locations or apartments let me know.

midtown is very trendy and music and people are matching.
if you need info on actual dance music events
try finding out whats really happening in houston
and clubbing without trendy hip hop and posts that are full of hype
keep up with a few myspace sites who focus on he cultural side of clubbing, as well as
