The venue sounds nice but i don't know how many people want to pay
$39 for sneak and micro....is this a destiny event?
toosweet
*cough cough* destiny party

hey all...

it's a little different from the usual. different venue...

don't get me wrong... it's a stellar lineup. prolly gon be there

looks like something to experience to understand. other than that, i don't see too many peeps too hyped for this one... jus my opinion.

I agree with toosweet. After reading about the party, I didn't find myself interested in going. I wouldn't pay $39 for that line up. So it's a Destiny Party? Is this what Destiny meant when they said they were going to throw more sophisticated parties that would be 19+ ?
feisty boy
this party is just what our scene needs....

new concept, most importantly - new, very interesting venue.

sure, the lineup's not totally stellar to most people, but I for one want to see more events like this, with more diverse lineups, so i'm going to support it.

sorry, but going to system every friday, or partying with high school kids at the palais every saturday, just isn't my idea of an interesting electronic music scene

I agree with ya to a point, it is good that big corporate companies are coming in willing to shell out a bunch of cash. But I don't agree with ya about System being boring or, not interesting. This is the first time in a couple years that all three members of Tilt will be playing together. They are totally revamping the decorations of the club and if you dress in blue that night you get in free! That is damn cool if you ask me.

But what it comes down to ultimately is the lineup...I'm not a huge fan of sneak, micro..etc. However...I LOVE all the stuff Tilt puts out, and every time I have seen Parks and Wilson they have blown me away.

Peace,
Steve

I'm with you on this one Viceroy. Although the venue and event sounds interesting and different, and I love the designated smoking area policy (i.e. I can breathe unlike at "breathe"), I'll be at System instead. Now, the price is quite high, but with a better line up I'd pay it just for the smoking policy.

Starecase people - !!!

If you haven't heard Starecase you have to. Amazing tracks!!

:)

Peace, Jason.

Woah, I didn't even see the part about designated smoking areas!! That is awsome! I wish more clubs would try this out...I mean, how hard is it to make one, smaller room the smoking room, and keep the main room smoke free.

There is a club in St. Cathrines that I've been too a few times, and they have 2 floors. Upstairs it's very chill, ambient music playing, candles, couches and NO SMOKING! :) Downstairs is the pumping tunes, and peeps can smoke down there if you want. The club is called Vivid.

Someday us non-smokers will prevail! :)

Peace,
Steve

Viceroy, you live in St. Kitts? I live in Hamilton but my friends and went to Vivid all the time last summer. I love it there. I love Mike Conradi's sets. Is he still there? I wonder if we've met before?
