Hi guys,
Sorry I do not speak Spanish!
I am going to Barcelona for a crazy weekend with 12 of my friends next week 27th / 28th / 29th January.
Can anyone recommend me some good club nights I should go to?
I have heard Oakenfold is playing at Pacha BCN on the 28th?
My friends will be happy, they enjoy trance so we might go to see Oakenfold. I personally do not listen to much trance.
Can you recommend me other nights (not trance music) please? techno? minimal? tech house and so on?
I heard Zombie Nation are playing on 27th?

Voy a Barcelona por un fin de semana loco con 12 de mis amigos la semana próxima 27/28/29 de enero.
¿Puede cualquier persona recomendar a mí algunas buenas noches del club que debo atender?
¿He oído que Oakenfold está jugando en Pacha BCN en el 28 cuarto?
Mis amigos serán felices, ellos gozan de trance así que puede ser que vayamos a ver Oakenfold. No escucho personalmente mucho trance.
¿Puede usted recomendarme otras noches (no música del trance) por favor? ¿techno? ¿mínimo? ¿casa del tech etcétera?
¿Oí que Zombie Nation está jugando en 27mo?

Hey sorry for the delay.. hope it´s not too late this reply!
like dan hernan said I´m from near Barcelona though I don´t live there right now.. and I know well the BCN scene.
Personal suggestions:
- THE LOFT (Sala Razzmatazz). on friday there is a good line-up
- SPACE of Barcelona (same promotor as Space of Ibiza)
- afterhours MERCI or SOUVENIR. best house I´ve heard in Barcelona.
- Sunday afternoon = LOKOTRON (it opens at 16 - 17 h. on sunday after the last hours of the afterhours below)
- Sunday evening / night = CAFÉ OLE and LA MADAMME.

Especially the after party.. I wonder what everyones reactions will be when 12 Scottish guys (or the survivors from the club) turn up at Merci for the afterhours :)

Merci and Souvenir are in Viladecans (district of Barcelona), you can arrive there by train or car. once there both are near, same street..

They open at 6 a.m. and Souvenuir closes at 14 p.m. on sunday, Merci @ 19 p.m. :eyes: :crazy:

2 of my friends are studying out in Barcelona, so we're meeting with them - they will know Viladecans.
Nah, I wouldn't recommend seeing Oakenfold, he needs to quit while there is still a little bit of respect left for him!
I think we're going to go to Space on the Saturday night, my 2 friends go there all the time and say it's brilliant :cool: |
