what the...?
the supreme court rejected this law 2 years ago, and now, with absolutely no fresh 'evidence' or equivalant, the government tries at it again, but this time in a federal court? (which i assume is lower in authority than the supreme court)
even if the government wins at federal court, how will it be any different in the supreme court this time? |

Well, as far as I understand, it's a different matter this time: The government want access to some of Google's property (the data). They want this in order to build a stronger argument in the other case. |

yeah, i understood that, but according to the story, the case at the supreme court last time was rejected based on free speech; what sort of evidence can they get that will help them against free speech? |
