Definitely. That was more my point in posting it. :)
It wasnt really about which format is better.
He actually utilizes all formats right now, and I think that is really cool.
Trance Driver is just pretending to be real and blend in and Clovis is getting bent over Ableton like it's his mom (as always), but I do appreciate his passion for the new technology.
I, for now, am sticking to vinyl and CDs, as I would like to master those formats before I move on to a new one.
Anyway, its a bit weird that he has his sidekick with him at the interview, and even answering a couple questions, but overall I really like the information he shared about himself. He is definitely more humble than Tiesto, who when asked what his favorite website of the year was, said his own!

Armin: Yeah, definitely, but at the moment, and this is what I have been saying to a lot of people, laptops are made for home or office use, not for use in vibrant surroundings with a lot of smoke... . people tend to spill drinks on your laptop when you are DJ'ing. I have Ableton, I am really good with it, because I do my show every week in Ableton Live. Actually this week's show was completely done on the airplane with Ableton Live. Sometimes I play for 10 or 12 thousand people and I just can't have the chance of my laptop crashing when it's a really important night for me. Now, from what I've heard in the past, you always hear him speak at a couple points in the show. So if the show was "completely done on the airplane" then how many passengers did he piss off?

Haha, I think I'd be kinda pissed if I was the guy next to him and his arms were everywhere. :p

There was a time last year when he didn't speak at all during a few shows. That must have been one of them. |
