Question about Spirit, Crobar, Avalon and other clubs....Photography

Im interested in taking pics at the upcoming AVB event at spirit. Now i dont know if the cams are allowed. When i went to ROXY to see PVD they took it away and gave me back after the show. I took decent pics at Central Park when PVD spun...alot of people complemented on the pics and i want to provide more.
How can i get ahold of a person in charge of something like that? DO i have to call the club, emaail them or what? I have a Canon Rebel 350D (XT)...Do i need to get a press pass?

| I would suggest calling the club. Also maybe call a company that is known to take pictures at these venues on a regular basis. They should at least be able to give you contact information for the person you need to speak to. |

They let people in with regular digicams but since this is a professional-ish camera you might have some problems. I would just call up the club in question and ask whether you can bring in this camera on the certain night or whether you need a photographer pass or smt. |
