Err, why don't you actually just get an accapella? That way you are not limited to certain records and you can do any combinations you want.
Get a vocoder program and make your own and so on...

yes, ive been searching quite hard for decent accapellas, but like i said they are mainly suited for house music, cos in general they are just of some diva screaming her head off, and that aint really what im looking for, tho i do have a couple accapellas on vinyl, which are decent......ie Mona Lisa Overdrive - Born To Synthesize......and theres that obvious Martin Luther King one, i just want one to get everyones attention straight away at a start of a mix, if you know what i mean
thanks for all the suggestions though :) |

Acapella: Foremost Poets - Moonraker
is a good one, it is more for house, but could be for any genre i suppose. |

I sometimes also look to films for inspiration, you would be surprised what you can find if you just take the time to look. Bit over done perhaps but if you are clever about it, you can get some good results.

Strangely enough I have it on my hard drive, will place it on my website so that you can get a hold of it. Not sure about the quality though.

last time i saw PVD at space he opened with this siiiiiiick track. i couldnt tell if it was an acapella or not but it was like:
"my finger... is on... the button...."
he built that up for like 5 mins without dropping the beat. just kept building and building, and when he finally dropped it...
"my finer, is on, the BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!"
whatever that was i want that . |
