Here BK is called Hungry Jacks, or Fungry's (nickname because of a tv show here). HJs > MackieD's every time.

Double whopper with cheese large meal (don't have bucket size meals here). Good stuff.
tribu
This is America. I've gotte a class Quintuple(5 patties) with cheese from wendys. Here, an extra patty costs a buck or so.

:stongue:

it's MICK-Donald's, dude. maybe australians pronounce it different or something, but even in our commercials, it's pronounced "MICK-Donald's."

lol at mackie-d's though

.. though now that i think about it, it's kinda weird that everyone pronounces it "MICK Donald's" when they have a "Big MAC." strange

kinda proves my point yeah?

either way, its not a strong i or a sound, so I guess it could be either way depending on accent. However if you are syaing MICKdonalds, thats just an abuse of the english language imo.

lol, i think it's just a differing of accents/cultures.

for example, it's not Mt. MAC-Kinley, it's Mt. McKinley, with a Mic sound. now, Douglas MACArthur has a Mac sound, because it's spelled that way. MacArthur. it's probably just dependent on the word, i guess. trust me though, it's Mick-Donalds.

check it out: MICK-Donald's commercial

even though it's from the '80s, notice, "MIC" nuggets, "MIC donald, etc etc
