Hello TranceAddicts!
Today, I wanna present you a new sample of my current project. I'm content with the melody but I have some problems concerning the build up and finding other fitting instruments or a variation in the pad. The TB-303 line is kind of my "brand image"- so I don't wanna leave it out. Tell me what you think of it.

Hi dude,
Phew! It took a little while to download, but it got there in the end.
So, my review...
Well, my thoughts are mostly positive. The mixing is generally good, although there is a bit of a muddy area in the mid-bass region. At full tilt there seems to be a purpose to every sound and melody you've created and they all seem to work well together. Yes, that includes the 303 as well, but I do feel that it is a bit of a dated sound now and it might help your music sound more current if this wasn't used as much. However if you have to use it, try to automate it more. The LP filter trick doesn't help it sound any more modern.
Overall a good track though, hope I wasn't too critical.

Thanks Aquascape for your review :)
First of all, no you wasn't to critical...actually I'm even happy with your statement because I'm producing for almost only one year. I'm glad that you're content with the mixing because I've never concentrated so much on sound quality before!
Well, I know that my 303sound is a bit "out of date" but I want to start a new 303-revival :D Any time, everybody will dance to aciiiiiid once again...I hope so;) But in the other point, you're may br right: I used it too much^^ As I said in my first post, I'm still searching for additional elements.
BTW: Melody is all done without any lessons on keybord or any other school practice... Just tried as much as possible. My ears were my onliest teacher.
