On my way to college station I tuned it on 91.5, or I think its 95.1 (cant remember I was too ed up), and I heard some decent house and drum n bass playing live from Club Deep. I got there and it was a totally different story. Rap, rock, and uhh....well, i guess just rap and rock. There were a few good house choons, nothing of the usual though. Just picture yourself getting all excited about going to go meet some hot chicks at a dance club, or "ultimate dance club" as they called it on the radio, and you get a Coco Loco type joint.
The chicks were hot, yes, but I have never in my life encountered such rude ass people. For the first time in my life I had a girl actually turn me away when I asked her to dance. I'm not saying that to embarrass myself here, but just in case anyone gets the wrong information and hears someone say that Club Deep is the "" (probably by some moron who was drunk that night and couldnt remember anything) please dont waste your time. It was the most boring, most stupidest club Ive ever been to. And no, it is not the coolest club in college station. I think Harry's, who plays 30 minutes of rap and 30 minutes of country (considering I hate the living out of country) could pass as a "bad ass" club beside the hole club deep!!
Another issue was the bar. I waited (and Im not being sarcastic) approximately an hour just to have a sour vodka cherry.
Long story short, 4 fights broke out, 6 were arrested, and pretty much the only thing that made my night better were of course my roommates who joined me (I apologized to them for the inconvenience of that club) and a trip to IHOP after the club.
Here are some pics from last night:

| At least Lubbock was kind enough to stop trying to figure out a way to make a decent club. . . |

ha! with what I went through last night, i think a club down Nowhere, Texas could be better. But yea we're thinking of taking some road trips this semester. Somehow my roommates enjoy it everytime I play trance music in my room, so apparently they've already confirmed the PVD gig in Dallas next month ;) |

reminds me of my first job...Golf America in Katy Mills Mall. That spot has some curse on it, every business that opens up there ends up closing down in a matter of weeks. |

HA HA! Yeah, that place use to be called Vertigo when I live in CS.
Someone got shot there right before they closed it down.
If you're going to live in CS, do what I did, drive to Houston or Austin for Trance. |
