Complete agree. Nothing But You is just spine-tingling when played at the right time in a PvD set. For an Angel is just an amazing tune to sit back and enjoy. |

| For An Angel. Nothing But You is nice une too, but FAA is easily better one. |

| nby is a bit of a excuse for a tune really.. just the vocal sample from arctic with a pvd kick/bass/few generic synths on. i don't mind it that much tbh but comparing it with faa is a bit of a one horse race |

Nothing but you, I've always been a sucker for it.
FAA is good, but just doesn't do it for me like NBU. Also its a straight rip off of a 90's old skool song, the riff, that was supposedly so "revolutionary" is nicked, so I don't like it as much :-p

| I'd say both are quite average. If I were to choose any Paul Van Dyk song, it'd be PVD and BT's Fruit of Love mix of Forbidden Fruit. That track is in a whole different class to the stuff most people today associate with the PVD name. |

+1. wow you took the words out of my mouth.
it's a bit sad that most people are only familiar with PVD's stuff after For An Angel when his best stuff is from 1997 and before.
You can clearly hear that the stuff PVD did with BT is so much better than his solo works. BT must have given PVD the lesson of his life in the studio. Too bad he had a short memory :( |

Nothing But You (Original UNRELEASED Mix)
I never liked For An Angel. I hate crappy piano lines like that, especially in trance. |
