and The liberals have a much better history for running the economy than do the conservatives and it would be hard to beat it. |
except womens right to chose, which the conservatives aren't planning on touching, the rest i don't really care.
What is the most important is Quebec and ottawa fixing the problems they have together and the conservatives are the only ones willing. |

It's a proven fact. |
+1 no joke this morning on the way to the bus stop i see the local liberal dude and 2 other ppl, standing on the corner, with liberal signs jumping up and down waving and smiling. I felt like a punching them, and to think i would of voted liberal, but after seeing this, never again. |

Conservatives will win a minority government, the NDP will work with them to form the next government, it is almost a guarantee.
Harper had Layton convinced from the start, it's obvious, why else would Layton be so quiet regarding Harper the entire campaign? Clearly Harper should be a leftist's target since he is the only right wing party in the house of commons, but no, oddly Jack Layton stayed quiet about Harper, which means they must be in league with eachother, almost certainly.
If that's the case, all of you people who are so worried about a conservative movement in Canada will be happy to know that it will be balanced. The further left New Democrats working with the Conservatives means that the conservatives will not be able to implement crazy Albertan redneck/American policy.
What will be interesting to see is if the conservatives some how pull off a majority government... I doubt it will happen, but if it does then Candada is really in for change, and although I used to be the biggest Liberal there is... It's time for change, it's how our system works, we are not a one-party dominant system like in Mexico, we are a multi-party system, we rely on the government changing every so often to maintain our political climate :)
All to say, Conservatives I believe are a welcome change, I do not think they will repeat Mulroney's mistakes, because then the conservative party will simply lose all of it's remaining credibility, no... I think conservatives will be very cautious and make very few outrageous policy changes in this term of parliament, they can't afford to go crazy and flood Canada with American/facist policy :p |

How can you all just sit around and elect a government that think gays have less rights than we do?
How can you elect a party that wants to make us closer to the barbarians down south?
How can you elect a party that for years have been jealous of the attention Quebec recieves?
How can you elect a party that, only a few years ago, wanted to move the Air Canada headquaters to Toronto to eliminate the need to bilingualise the fleet?
HOW CAN YOU ELECT A PARTY THAT WANTS TO BECOME CLOSER WITH THE UNITED STATES? ARE YOU ALL FKN MAD? |

Yes, but vote for the Liberals because I'd rather have my tax dollars go down the drain than I would see Canada become closer to the US.
I would also rather vote for the liberals because I think that human beings, sexual orientation aside, all have the same rights... this is something that Harper disagrees with... |

Its not true Max, if it was the case, Homesexuality and god forbid lesbianism would be illegal... in any case, I'm not gay nor do I know anyone around me who is and who'll be affected. This comment might be rude, but this is just a non-issue for me.

I don't get it, Alberta is envying Québec in regards to how society has evolved and its position in Canada.
