lol.. are you being for real? there are many people, such as myself, who never got to "witness" (not really sure what you mean by this term) oakenfold live during 99, and some were not even into the scene back then... all you have to do is download one of his older livesets.. is it that tough to do? :conf: |

| I haven't seen Oakie live for about 3 yrs. His two sets on the UMF 2004 DVD are great. The man just can't smile or get into things like he used to, though. Don't know what's up, but hope he gets his sh*t straight one of these days. Guess all that celebrity has taken away from the newness he felt back in the 80's. |

What a strange, strange comment...
To me going to an event with thousands of people, great production, great set up, great sound, and hearing the best tracks out (and damn those 99 tunes were the BOMB!) is vastly different to sitting by the computer listening to a set.
But, that's just me. Clearly you get the same kicks from both, and I commend you on how easily you are satisfied. |
