I'm not so sure if the local police should be doing this... (pg. 2)

What if (I know, it's rare) he tried to get his life back in order and ditch the sex-offending? If someone saw that and stole his identity, he'd be ed.
Not cool. |
More than that, usually communities harrass and threaten an indvidual so that he/she leaves. I don't particularly agree with Meagan's law as it conflicts with the entire rationale for rehabilitation. |

| some frat guys were looking at florida's female sex offenders, and calling the "decent" looking ones to see if they could score some butt, since they could be "easier". deborah la'fave is on there. the infamous hot teacher. |

there are some paths in life which can't be untaken. rape is one of them. the crime and the punishment - that's how our world is still holding together. the person who you raped will change forever and will carry on the memory and the trauma for all his/her life. so why should you be given a chance to start clean?
now, there are ed up laws where bitches get drunk and get consent to them, and when they get sober, they start screaming about how they were not conscious of what they were saying and how they were raped: now this is simply wrong to call a man a rapist after that! |

That's nothing. There's some government agency link outhere
that will allow you to enter your zip code, and it will show you
a map of your neighborhood while also pointing out as to where do the
nearest sex offenders live.
Not only that but if you click on the person's 'home', it will show you their face, and what they were arrested for! |
GOOD! |

LOL LOL...bro i agree with most everything u say...but come on. You know studies show that sexual offenders are most likely going to reoffend.
And maybe your mind would change if you had a daughter and some touchy feely excon moved in next door to your house who raped a 4 year old girl. Then lets see how you feel.
If you ask me....lock them in a room and let the fathers have their way with them...then leave them in a 10x10 steel room with just a bed, toilet and sink for 24 hour lock down. Why should they be able to play ball, watch TV, read etc when their victoms can not...this is towards the ones who killed a child. em.
Its not a hard concept...u dont want to be locked up for life...dont commit the crime and u will be fine. |

i somewhat agree. I hear all this about criminal rights...criminal rights. When you commit a crime (as slylee said) you give up alot of your rights. Excercise equipment is fine, but television is not an inaliable right :D
EDIT: That was poorly worded, but I am le tired |

So then give them life inprisonment. Give them the death penalty ... I don't care. Either you stand by the principle of rehabilitation such that once their debt to society is paid, they can rejoin it as free citizens or you don't. Why not incorporate EVERY criminal into a public database so we can see who among us has done what? |
