My vision is extremely poor(20/80 with glasses on). Generally, I am able to use the computer but I have a hard time using a lot of different VSTs because I can make text/buttons bigger or change color contrasts in them. I can see FM7 pretty well but z3ta is unusable to me. Any idea on what I can do or any suggestions.
Thanks. |

| You can get programs that can magnify what's on your screen....I think Windows actually has one but can't tell for sure. Maybe something like that would help? |

| he's right. i don't know if it will help a whole lot, but click start>accessories>accessibility>magnifier and give it a shot. |

| What size of monitor do you use? What is your resolution set to on your computer? You will need a bigger monitor and set your res to a lower setting . I think that should help. |

Might also be useful to play with your monitor's contrast/brightness a little bit?
For some VSTi's - though this is very rare I'm afraid - there are different 'skins' as well, perhaps one of them might make it easier for you.
I fully understand what you mean though, some VSTi's have a whole damn bunch of buttons/sliders on one page... |

| Perhaps a midi controller would help to replace those small knobs? |

Thanks ppl.
I knew about turning down the resolution, but since I use FL(yeah I'm a big noob), it's hard for me to work on a song and make patches at the same time because there isn't any room on the screen. I'll just have to deal with it. I just wanted to ask if there was anybody more experience than me who had any other suggestions. Thanx for the help tho.
I also have no idea what MIDI controller is but I'll search to figure that out. |

| Hey looked in to it... And windows comes with a magnifier. Just go to Accessories, Accessability, and then Magnifier |

| My Accessibility options are jacked up. They don't seem to be working. At first I thought I was just inept but I got it to work on another PC. I have a lot of problems with my XP right now so, whenever I get another hard drive, I am gonna wipe it. All my XP problems will be resolved and hopefully the accessibility options will work again. |

I'm unsure if this is of any use but i'm wondering if it might help to purchase a second moniotor. I'm guessing it would be possible to have your vst's on one and magnify them, leaving you another moniitor for the sequencer.
