Advice on hooking up a turntable to a pc

Rigth imm thinking of hooking up a turntable to my pc so i can listen to vynle etc, just wondering do i need to get a line amp to boost the level of sound from the turntable before it goes into the soundcard line in?? and any recomadations for a good deck

| hmm there is already a discussion like this in the dj booth, but I am thinking your going to want a mixer.. check on the convo in the dj booth |
