i took this course last semester for a credit about women in film and the way these people think about things is completely ridiculous. they over anaylze everything to the point of absurdity to try and justify what they want to. i'm not sexist or anti-feminist, but atleast be smart about it.
in today's world women are becoming more and more powerful and i think there will come a point in the next couple generations that women will replace men as the dominant sex, unless men get their together and keep up. in our generation i think women will be more educated, more successful, and socially more powerful then men whether it be dating, in the work place, whatever.
at least from what i see out there, women don't really have any worries about ads like these. true it displays female sexuality, but it does it for the most part in a powerful way. women are well aware of their sexuality in today's world and ads just increase the notion of women being desired and in that position of control.
seriously though, women tend to hold themselves to a higher standard and it's that fact that is slowly moving them and preparing them for success. we teach women these things from an early age, men however have very few encouraging factors pushing them to achieve in the same way. |

| there's a really good ad on the wall at my school for Absolute. it has a girl standing in front of a toilet taking a pee (like a dude), and obviously you can only see her from behind w/ the long hair and stuff, and it says, "Absolute Deception" at the bottom :nervous: |

ehh, i disagree. i still think it's a man's world. women think that the only way to make it to the top is by using sex. but there are definitely a handful who are actually very smart and successful without that factor. |
