Seriously though, you will have a miserable time if you aren't properly dressed. It is a massively awful feeling to be cold off your ass and not have something to keep you warm.

Hell yeah!! You feel extremely uncomfortable. Just yesterday in the morning I stood up and went to work and after I arrived I found out that my left ear was frozen by the chilly eastern winds (-21°C). It still hurts up to now...

So MeLLyMeL, if you really want to have fun in Toronto, look that you wear the right things. And do not forget good shoes. Cold wet toes will destroy any party feeling ...

But, if you follow all the advices given here, then you will have a lot of fun with snow! And snow IS fun given that you have something warm to wear.

Ah yes, and finally: in Winter it is usually bad to have "high" temperatures (that usually means around the freezing point of water) becuase the weather is just foggy, cold and wet. Everybody feels uncomfortable with such a weather. You can see it in Theresa's images.

The REALLY cold weather is VERY bright, full with sunlight, an extremely clear atmosphere (from hills you see what is dozens of miles away) and lots of snowballs you could throw ;)

The equation still stands, # of hurricanes in Miami > # of hurricanes in SoCal...therefore SoCal weather > Miami weather :)
