This entire weekend has been so surreal and weird that I dont even know how to describe it. I should have had a video tape running with me at all times.

Amazing. It fell like a high school reunion. Everybody was there. Eddie Halliwell had me nonstop dancing. It was a night to remember(also a day to remember cause I made it made home around 6pm. Yuris get ready for Blank and Jones, and don't forget DJ Dan and C. Lawrence sound bar.

Interesting night to say the least. Got to see most of Glaude and was really impressed. Went to the after party before Halliwell and really liked the music there as well. Probably wouldn't have been as fun of a night if I had known all the crazy things that were going on at the time. Tony, will catch you next time. I think I saw you in the loft, but if that was you, you were kind of busy at the time ;) . Anyway hope everyone in Milwaukee gets a chance to hear Glaude when he's up there soon.

I will tell you this.

I left Vision a little bit after 2 am (Glaude was still on if I recall) to go to a different party for break-beats. It is the same loft party that Andy made his way to. For those folks who were unaware of the bad stuff - the night was a lot of fun with a ton of great break-beats being played.

For those who knew the guys that were running this monthly event, it was a bit of a disaster. For example, I wasted 45 minutes of my life trying to get a screeching, wailing, piss-ass drunk girl into a cab and get her the hell out of the party.

Here's a memorable excerpt of conversation that I had with her.

"--me: YOU NEED TO GO HOME, YOUR CAB IS OUTSIDE AND YOUR JACKET IS NOT HERE"
--her: I.. have... an.... idea...
--me: That's ing great, where was that idea half hour ago?
--her: I'll call my uncle, he's a cop, he'll come here and help me find my jacket.
--me: ..........
--her: Don't worry.... he's cool....
--me: .........."

I almost grabbed the phone out of her hand and chucked it out of the window at that point.

I don't remember exactly, but I think I might have been pissed off enough after all that time to give her the option of me helping her walk down the stairs and helping her into a cab. Or having me kick her down the stairs (45 steps at least) and then carrying her body out to the cab. Eventually, I walked her out, gave the driver 15$ and told him to take her home.

This night will be memorable to me for quite some time, but not because of the music, unfortunately. I gained a whole new level of appreciation for club/party personnel who have to deal with drunks, belligerent s, idiots, lee hotti's, and all that baggage that unfortunately comes along with the music.

Rob & Myra, if you really really want the details, just hit me up on AIM. My AIM username is in my profile :)
