LONG VERSION: So I placed an order for basketball shoes on Finishline.com on Dec. 30th and used two gift cards that I received for Christmas. When I placed the order, the website showed the shoes as being in stock and said the item would ship in 4-5 days. 11 days and two phone calls later, I get an e-mail that says they've cancelled my order. I think 'Ok I'll just go the nearest store and pick something out.' Before I do that though, I check the balances on my gift cards and it still shows that I was charged for the shoes. So I call Finishline customer service on Jan. 12th and they tell me that they can't refund to a gift card and they will just mail me a new gift card for the amount. Additionally, they only mail these on Fridays. So Jan. 18th rolls around and I haven't received my gift card yet so I called to see if it has been processed and when I could expect it. When I speak with the customer service rep she is very apologetic and informs me that no one had processed my refund yet and she doesn't know why. She tells me that she is putting in the refund request as we are speaking. So as of today I have still received nothing and I call Finishline customer service once again, and I am told that my refund via gift card was just processed YESTERDAY and most likely I would receive it NEXT WEEK. The kicker of it all is that, when I was checking out, I requested 'Rush Shipping' because I actually thought I would recieve the shoes in a timely manner.

SHORT VERSION: I ordered shoes form Finishline.com and they cancelled my order. It is likely that a month will pass from the time I placed the initial order, that I will receive my refund.

I'm just posting this so when I send a letter to their customer service department, I can inform them that I posted how disappointed I was with their services on a 'high traffic' forum. lol.

If you'd like to vent or share similar craptacular stories, feel free.


EDIT: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I just realized that I'm going to 'send teh lettar'!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shox VC IV in white/red. I was stoked to find that they had them 'in stock' because it was an 'older' shoe.

When I get the refund, I think I am going to get the Shox VC V, even though I'm not too excited about the color scheme.

My last three pair of ballin' shoes were the Elevates; I really like playing in the Shox, which is why I wanted the VC IV's. I don't really like any of the other Shox that are out now except kinda the VC V, if only Finishline had the White/Carolina Blue OMG. Or the XIV Low, that was my most favorite ballin' shoe ever.
