Hi Leng,
Listening now...when you say you want to change the bassline, what do you mean? Do you want to change the sound of the bass or the bass pattern? I think perhaps you should layer the bass, and have different patterns at different frequencies.
Some common patterns are:
X---X---X---X--- Kick
--X--X----X--X-- Bass
x---x---x---x--- Kick
xx-x-x-xxx-x-x-x Bassline |

Whong place realy for track reviews try the music producers promotion section.
Not too bad this track. Lacking in character though, sounds like you used vanguard for each sound you have in there. I'd leave the bass as it is but add some effects. Theirs too many possibilities to name, but an autowah could add some dynamics to it, and a Double Delay on 1/4d(left) and 1/8d(right) could add some space to it. I'd say, justgo crazy and add experiment a little with whacky effect constructions.
kind regards,

A good bassline idea I had. X is a high octave note, x is low octave.
X---X---X---X--- Kick
xxXxxXxxXxxXxxxx Bass
The most important part of this is the rolling. I think with the dark feel you've got going here, you want a nice rolling bassline to keep it going. |
