Your on a crammped subway car during rush hour and your caught between two peoples dull as hell conversation lol.

This afternoon it was an older man and lady ranting about chandeliers. Went something like this:

Lady: so where did you but your chandelier? Man: I bought this chandelier at such and such place. Lady: Really I bought a chandelier at such and such place once aswell. Man: So what did you think of the quality of the chandeliers at such and such place? Lady: Well I found the quality of the chandeliers at such and place good but no as good as this other place.

and on, and on, and on for 15 minutes lol

THANK GOD FOR HEADPHONES.

I hate small talk on the subway. Although, I always am polite.

Once a lady said, you look depressed are you ok? I thought for a second, aw that was consider...until she started yacking about Jesus.

hurrah.

I happen to be carry records one day and suddenely, i hear this dude talking about records and some about drum 'n' bass. Before I leave the subway cart, he asks, oh what do you spin? [ I said house, because that's all I had on me at that time] and he said oh you look like a techno dj. I spin drum n bass. I smiled and hopped off.

gaaaay.

There are always some loud obnoxious girls. grr. I hate them all.

p.s. the Go Transit sucks just as much.

The only time they cannot save me is when I leave work at the sametime as somebody(who i do not know) and then end up on the same subway car as them.

So what do you do, what department, how long have you been here, do you like it...blah blah blah. They are being nice, but i never saw them before and I probably wont see them again, even though we work at the same place.

thank you mp3 player + headphones!

Anyone ever step on to a subway car and find a full-on party inside! and get handed a beer as you step in!

It's happened to me a couple times over the past few years.

Usually at or around Royal York station.

It's the worst in the summer when you get that one who decides not to wear deodourant, and god must punish me when he has to hold that cross bar that runs across the newer trains. For those 4 stops of hell, death would have been a better fate.

LOL wow nothing to that extent, but I remember one time we were heading downtown and these guys in front of us had a bottle of rum, a bottle of coke, and cups. They were mixing drinks right there lol. So we pulled out our beers and I spun up a joint. w00t!

and this is why i walk to work, ladies and gentlemen.

i only take the streetcar when i'm running late or it's pissing down outside. awful stuff. nothing worse than being crammed in with a bunch of crusty people in the mornings.
