in woodbridge by the colossus. its actually in the same plaza as the AMC theatre. i know that lot used to be a big target for thieves.
a friend's brother used to work in one of the places there. he had a honda with a supercharger. the theives actually managed to steal just the supercharger from his car. if i was the thieves i would've taken the whole car! |

sorry my bad i meant Colossus .. but definately that parkin lot is a hot zone .. which is why till this day i've never parked there!

Thanks everyone, I'm trying to cope with this ... it bums me out the most that it was gift from most of you.
From now on, faceplate is gonna be with me and I will be parking at a pay lot ... even if it's free parking ont he st after 9pm |

Oh man, if I had a dime for each time I heard that when some tool hits my car... honestly people are retarded big time. Nobody wants to take responsibility for their actions and they'll try anything to get an easy way out. I hope they die lonely and slowly to be honest.

Especially the people who stole your deck John.. I don't tolerate that kind of stuff at all, and I hope something gets done about future mishaps like this. I cannot believe how nobody would have seen anything walking by at any point in time when these things happen. Im sure some people do, but they're just as bad for not doing anything. |

nobody should tolerate this kind of stuff.
i am trying to finish building my current system with all JL Audio parts but its tought when the stuff is so damn expensive. ive had people offer me "hot equipment" but i always turn it down. they ask "why? its half the price!" and this is the answer that i give them. "if i buy something from you then you need to replenish your stock/inventory by ripping off another innocent person who worked hard for their stuff. i dont want to be a pat of it." they usually end up with a confused look. |

That sucks bro. I always carry my faceplate with me, even though I know that someone could probably get another one if they wanted to.
I'm getting a new ride this weekend. If it has MP3 playback, I'll unload my DEHP-840MP (Pioneer Premier w/MP3 & WMA playback; silver, fold down double-face control console) for $200.

I had my car broken into 3 times in cabbagetown while I had street parking.
They always took cds (the promotional "not for sale" ones - duh!) and they used a slim jim everytime. And stole my neighbour's clubs once (thank goodness he was about to replace them anyway!)
My control panel was hanging by a wire and the cops wouldn't come to print it or anything. They didn't come anytime I got broken into and once told me my car would have to get towed to a lot for them to print. Lazy bastards. They'd hurry for a doughnut sale I bet!
Cops: To serve and protect.? Nope. To irritate and annoy. |

pay lots do NOT provide any extra security. Within a 3 month timespan, 2 people i knew, and then my own car were all broken into when parked in a pay lot (or in my case - underground parking at my friend's apartment building). We think that because there were no cameras, the only explanation is that the thieves had to have paid off the attendant to look the other way.
It sucks that you cant own anything nice these days without fear of it being taken away. |
