| i was there, cant remember who i saw there...but the club itself is pretty chill. kinda expensive drinks wise. i enjoyed myself that night though. |

| dam the vanguard its a nice club and all. But it seems small for PVD. I have not been there since heaven through parties back in the summer. Sound system sounds ok but not spundae or avalon like. I think they should kept it at the Mayan. |

| i think pvd will be perfect in this place. he will rawk the funktion one like no other. you should all go to witness it. i bet it will be amazing. but it is way too expensive, thats insomniac for ya. oh well, eitherway im there. its a long weekend that weekend. :crazy: :crazy: |

Mayan & Insomniac are different promoters. ;) PVD is really expensive, that's why you rarely see him in LA on a weekend. Unless off course, it's at a massive (which only Insomniac & Go Ventures do). Sound System? :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: Vanguard has a brand new FUNKTION ONE system. The only club in LA with one. It's by far one of the best systems in the city. It goes heads up with Avalon's. BTW, according to an article I read, Vanguards capacity is near 1800. That makes it as a big as Spundae. (not counting Spundae's side room).

thanks for the info. Im more tempted now, but $40 bucks. Well I guess I should take advantage now, cause next year PVD in concert will be $80. hahaha. |

Ya Vanguard is definately one of the biggest/baddest clubs in LA. I usually go there Sat nights which is mostly Hip Hop and towards the end of the night they play y music (I think to get you out of there) But PVD is gonna pack the place! I heard a rumor about VIP w/ open bar for $100. Dunno if that true or not. Here's a couple pics and video I took last time when I was helping out with an event there.
